Pakistan’s cricketer Umar Akmal has been banned from all formats of cricket for three years for breaching two of the PCB’s anti-corruption code as announced by Pakistan Cricket Board.

Umar Akmal is suspended under PCB’s anti-corruption code. The charges come under Article 2.4.4 which follows :”Failing to disclose to the PCB Vigilance and Security Department (without unnecessary delay) full details of any approaches or invitations received by the Participant to engage in Corrupt Conduct under this Anti-Corruption Code” as quoted by ESPNCricinfo
“Umar Akmal handed three-year ban from all cricket by Chairman of the Disciplinary Panel Mr Justice (retired) Fazal-e-Miran Chauhan,” read the tweet from Pakistan Cricket Board.
