The Voice of Nepal is the Nepali format of the international TV singing reality series called The Voice created by John De Mol, whose first season is won by CD Vijaya Adhikari from Team Deep.
The Voice of Nepal’s first season was a bang. Everyone was freaking excited about the arrival news of The Voice, and The Voice of Nepal team did great to soothe the excitement of audiences.
The Voice of Nepal first season aired on Kantipur Television but its second season is to be broadcasted on Himalaya Television. Also, The Voice of Nepal season 2 has got some changes in the coaches. Sanup Paudel and Abhaya Subba have been replaced by Raju Lama and Aastha Raut.
The Voice of Nepal is different, unlike other singing reality shows in Nepal. One can just go through the digital audition by downloading Voice of Nepal’s mobile app, record a song as a video and send it to the team and if they liked it, boom you are in The Voice of Nepal. There’s no need to be in the long queue whole day long and wait for your chance; it’s digital, for a digital you. Isn’t that cool?
Also, The Voice of Nepal team facilitated contestants to send their video through Viber and facebook if they had problems using the app. The team were also flexible in accepting the audition forms from people around the world. It is not necessary that a person should be Nepali.
From 2nd Magh 2075, the digital audition for The Voice of Nepal Season 2 was started. The digital audition has now officially ended and the Voice of Nepal Season 2 team claim that they have received more than twenty thousand digital applicants form.
The team boasted that the first season of Voice was a massive hit and it is only the show in Nepal that has got the highest number of views on YouTube. They also added that due to the success of Voice franchise in Nepal, it is being extended to other countries too.
“From bulk applicants, only 100 applicants have been selected for the blind audition of The Voice of Nepal Season 2,” the team explained.
The Voice of Nepal Season 2 is scheduled to broadcast from the first week of Shawn 2076 every Friday and Saturday 08 PM on Himalaya Teleivison.
Why Abhaya Subba and Sanup Paudel Were Removed From The Show?
Abhaya Subba on her recent video which she uploaded on her own channel said that The Voice Of Nepal show is a real mismanaged show. She had to leave the show due to the organizer’s negligence. She even revealed that the organizers didn’t tell her and Sanup Paudel about their removal from the show. She had to know it from the rumours buzzing around the internet.

Voice of Nepal is full of controversies this year. Additionally, The head and assistant director Firoz Timalsina from the show posted on his facebook handle that he hasn’t got his salaries yet for the first season.

What has been changed in The Voice of Nepal Season 2?
Two coaches have been changed in The Voice of Nepal Season 2. Raju Lama (Mongolian Heart) and popular singer Asma Raut have replaced Sanup Paudel and Abhaya Subba. So, four coaches, Pramod Kharel, Deep Shrestha, Raju Lama and Asma Raut will be the major coaches in The Voice of Nepal Season 2.
The previous season of Voice was aired on Kantipur television whereas the second season will be aired on Himalaya Television.
The title sponsors have been changed to the United Cements. NIC Asia Bank and the ING Group have been accompanied in the co-sponsors line. Prabhu pay will be working as a voting and payment partner.
