Sundar Yatayat Starts 7 Electric Buses In Kathmandu From Today

Sundar Yatayat Private Limited has started it’s novel electric buses from today.

Sundar Yatyat has started its operation in Kathmandu, with their seven 7 new buses.

These electric buses are having two charging hubs, one at Sukedhara and another at Sitapaila. These each charging stations can charge six electric buses at a time. So technically 18 electric buses in Kathmandu can be charged at a time. Also, they are eager about installing charging hubs at Butwal and Biratnagar.

Sundar Yatayat Pvt Ltd is eager to expand their electric buses to Province number 1 and other places real soon.

For now, these electric buses will cover the routes from, Narayan Gopal Chowk-Mediciti Hospital, New Bus Park-Gaushala, Koteshwar- Sallaghari, and Dungheadda-Attarkhel.

Sundar Yatayat’s Electric bus has a capacity of 40 pax. And it comes with another amazing thing,  all passengers will be charged 25% lesser fare than the normal bus fares.

What’s Good?

Sundar Yatyat’s electric buses are eco-friendly and charge cheap fares. Concerning the security, the buses are equipped with enough CC cameras. In addition, they are equipped with dustbin, GPS tracking, fire extinguisher and the hammer for exiting in case of emergency.

Also, for the convenience of passengers, Sundar Yatyat buses will facilitate electronic payment through QR code scanning and card payments.

Sundar Yatyat’s electric buses include the convenience of air-conditioner as well as it doesn’t pollute the environment with smoke and they emit less sound.

“While a diesel-powered bus consumes four thousand rupees of fuel per day, electric vehicles consume electricity equivalent to Rs 700,” said Thapa the director of Sundar Yatyat.
