After Hashim Amla and Dwayne Smith, Srilankan opener Upul Tharanga is all set to play in Everest Premier League (EPL) from Lalitpur Patriots.
35 years-old left-handed batsman Upul Tharanga who was also former Captain of Srilankan national team has played 31 Test matches, 287 ODI’s and 26 T20 for Sri Lanka. Tharanga said that he was honored to play for Lalitpur Patriots in the upcoming Everest Premier League (EPL).
Tharanga is one of the players to have shared more than 200 runs in ODI cricket for 7 times. Lalitpur Patriots will be captained by the national team captain of Nepali Cricket, Gyanendra Malla.
Everest Premier League (EPL) is a franchise twenty20 cricket tournament which will be held from March 14 to March 28.
