Former captain of Pakistan Cricket Team, Sarfaraz Ahmed decided to auction his bat used in Champions Trophy 2017 to raise the fund for coronavirus pandemic.
Earlier Pakistan had won the Champions Trophy in 2017 beating India in finals. Sarfaraz batted in two innings scoring 76 runs in that tournament.
Sarfaraz had decided to bestow the money from the auction to ground staff and players affected from coronavirus pandemic.
“Sarfaraz Ahmed has given the bat he used during the 2017 Champions Trophy for auction. The money raised will go towards helping athletes and ground staff who are struggling financially since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic” tweeted by Saj Sadiq.
