Nepal has defeated the United States in today’s game with spinners Sandeep Lamichhane and Susan Bhari. Both took 10 wickets and gave Nepal second victory in this ICC Cricket Worldcup League 2.
In the triangular series under the ICC World Cup Cricket League-2 between Nepal and USA held today at TU ground, the United States are all out for 35 runs.
The American players who had to bat first after losing the toss looked nervous in front of the Nepali bowlers. The entire United States team was bowled in 12 overs where Sandeep Lamichhane took 6 big wickets and Susan Bhari took 4 wickets.
Sandeep, who bowled for 6 overs, gave 16 runs with one over maiden and took 6 wickets. This is the best performance of his career so far. Similarly, Sushant Bhari bowled for 3 overs giving just 5 runs with one maiden over and taking 4 wickets.
Nepal lost both openers Gyanendra Malla and Subash Khakurel in the second over. But former captain Paras Khadka and vice-captain Dipendra Singh Airee shared 34 runs to make Nepal victory.
