Nepalese sensation Sandeep Lamichhane was bought by Jamaica Tallawahs for USD 130,000(nearly 1 crore 50 lakhs Nepalese Ruppee) in Caribbean Premier League draft 2020 on Monday.
The virtual CPL Draft attracted total of 537 players from various cricketing nation. Sandeep Lamichhane with base price 90 dollar(nearly NPR 1 crore) was able to picked by Jamaica Tallawahs on third round of the draft. Mohammad Nabi, Mujeeb Ul Rahaman, Faf du Plessis were in the same category.
Caribbean Premier League(CPL) 2020 is scheduled to happen from August 18 until September 10 in Trinidad and Tobago. The tournament will take place behind closed doors amid global coronavirus fear.
