PCB To Decide Fate Of Asia Cup 2020 Next Month

Asia Cup 2020 was scheduled for September in UAE with hosting right for Pakistan.

Asia Cup 2020 which was scheduled for September is in doubtful condition due to coronavirus pandemic all around the globe. All the sporting events has been cancelled due to fear of coronavirus and almost every country is in lockdown condition.

Asia Cup which was supposed to host by Pakistan in September in UAE after the statement of BCCI is now affected by global fear of COVID-19.The tournament was decided to happen in every two years and in 20-20 format earlier by Asian Cricket Council (ACC).

But due to coronavirus fear, there are clouds of uncertainty over the tournament. All the mega events along with Asia Cup 2020 are under total confusion of happening or not.

Recently the chairman of PCB , Ehsan Mani stated , “There’s uncertainty over the Asia Cup. Nothing has been decided yet. The whole world is in an uncertain state.”

“You don’t know what it will be like in September. Don’t get me wrong but it will depend on a number of factors. Mere speculation won’t help. Maybe the situation will be clearer in a month’s time” Mani added in his statement as quoted by India Times.
