The Nepali National Team has been announced for the triangular series involving the United States and Oman under the World Cup League-II, to be held in Nepal from February 5-12. The three-nation series will be held at TU International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.
Nepal Cricket Association (CAN) has prepared a list of 14 players on the advice of head coach Umesh Patwal.
In which young fast bowler Kamal Singh Airee has made it to the senior team for the first time. Kamal has been replaced by veteran player Sompal Kami. Also Kamal and Kushal Malla got to play the first ever ODI in their career.
Sompal Kami, who is a regular member of the Nepali team, lost the series due to his unhealthy stae. Likewise, Basanta Regmi who recently was blessed with a child will miss the game due to family reasons.
