Nepalese spin sensation, Sandeep Lamichhane is hitting the world hard with his Googly in recent years. Playing for his home country Nepal to playing for different franchise leagues across the world, Lamichhane is leaving his foot prints wherever he goes.
It was a franchise based T20 Cricket tournament in Hong Kong where Lamichhane catches the eye of former Australian captain Michael Clarke. Clarke was much more impressed from a 17-year old Lamichhane.
Recently during a cricket podcast series, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Hong Kong Cricket, Tim Cutler reveals the first impression of Clarke on Sandeep Lamichhane.

“When Clarke saw Lamichhane bowl for the first time during a T20 League in Hong Kong, his initial reaction was to take (migrate) the youngster to Australia and put him in the scheme of things of the national team.” reveals Cutler in a Cricket podcast.

Lamichhane was picked in Big Bash League for the first time in 2018-19 season and is playing for Melbourne Stars ever since.
Sandeep has picked up 26 Wickets with an economy of 7.27 playing for 20 matches for Melbourne Stars in his Big Bash League Career.
