Lockdown to continue upto 5th of Jestha in Nepal

The cabinet meeting held on Wednesday has decided to extend the lockdown till May 16 i.e. Jestha 5.
The lockdown period issued by the government from March 26 is coming to an end on Thursday. Meanwhile, the number of corona infections in Nepal has reached 82.

The lockdown imposed by the government for the prevention and control of corona virus has reached 44 days on Wednesday. Voices are also being raised saying that the long lockdown has caused a big problem in the economy and the affected areas should be separated and the lockdown should be relaxed.

At the meeting of the High-Level Coordination Committee on Prevention and Control of Covid-19 held on Tuesday, it was proposed to divide 77 districts into red, yellow and green areas on the basis of risk and make the timber hard or loose accordingly.
