Back in July this year, we wrote about the probability of the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) ban removal on the Cricket Association Of Nepal (CAN).
And yes the time has come, ICC has officially removed its ban on Governing body of cricket of Nepal, Cricket Association Of Nepal (CAN).
CAN’s ban has been removed following the conclusion of the ICC Board meetings in Dubai today.
CAN was banned by International Cricket Council (ICC) since April 2016. ICC suspended Cricket Association Of Nepal (CAN) from its participation in the charge of breaking Article 2.9 of the ICC’s Articles of Association. Which means ICC had suspended the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) in perspective on Nepal government’s interference in the board in April 2016.
Zimbabwe Cricket too was accused of similar allegation and the ban on Zimbabwe too has been removed.
