Senior opening batsmen of Nepal Gyanendra Malla, has been appointed as the new Captain of Nepali Cricket by Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN).
CAN has chosen a new captain as Gyanendra Malla, after Paras Khadka’s resignation from the captaincy. Additionally, as a vice captain of Nepali Cricket, Dipendra Singh Airee has been assigned.
This month International Cricket Council removed the suspension placed on CAN and the next day Paras Khadka announced that he would quit as a captain.
As per the news on Online Khabar, one of the CAN official mentioned “ We requested Paras to return back to the captaincy job. But after his refusal, the resignation has been approved and Gyanendra Malla will take the captaincy job till the next decision is made “.
