Foreign fast bowlers to watch out in IPL 2020

IPL 2020 features several foreign fast bowlers to watch out for.

The 2020 Indian Premier League is the 13th edition of IPL. IPL as we all know is the most-watched and money earning T20 franchise across the globe. IPL 2020 tournament was supposed to start on 29 March 2020 but due to the coronavirus pandemic, it was postponed indefinitely and now will start on 19th September 2020.

Although the venues of UAE will assist the spin bowlers, the following are some of the foreign fast bowlers to watch out in this year’s IPL.

1)Pat Cummins: Koklota Knight Riders

Australian pacer Pat Cummins was bought by Kolkota Knight Riders for a record fee of Rs 15.50 crore Indian rupees. Pat Cummins would look to justify the price tag he has been bought and look to take early wickets with sheer pace bowling.

Now, with Lasith Malinga set to miss out this year IPL, Boult remains set to be regular in the Mumbai squad. With his lethal swinging delivery, Boult remains a bowler to watch for.

There used to a time when English players were not willing to play the T20 franchise across the globe, however, the time has changed now and left-arm bowler Sam Curran is another English fast bowler to look for. With his medium run-up, left arm action, and great control over swing Sam was picked by Chennai Super Kings for 5.5 crores.

Jos Hazelwood and Sam Curran are among the foreign fast bowlers picked by Chennai this year. Since Curran is a better T20 bowler, Curran is likely an automatic fit opening the bowling for the Chennai team.
