America is hosting the 18th season of American Idol where a Nepali guy Dibesh Pokharel with a stage name Arthur Gunn appears. His performance and the tale is now killing the internet.
The judges Katy Perry, Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie of the American Idol fall for the performance delivered by Dibesh Pokharel from Nepal.
Dibesh Pokharel in the video starts with his introduction, he tells he is currently staying in Wichita, Kansas and originally belongs to Kathmandu, Nepal. Then he enters the stage and greets the judges with gentle ‘Namaste’ to which Katy Perry replies excitingly with “Namaste!!!”He sings Bob Dylan’s “Girl from the North Country”. The three judges love his performance but Richie urges “Just give me another song, just to get a little more of an idea of what you do,”. And then he sings “Have You Ever Seen The Rain” by Creedence Clearwater Revival.
After Arthur Gunn’s performance, the judges praised his singing openly. The judges responded that he is a promising competitor of American Idol.
“You are the story that we need to tell, “I don’t think we even need a vote. You are going to Hollywood!” said the judges to Dibesh from Nepal.
