COVID-19 : Former Pakistani Cricketer Zafar Sarfaraz Died

Former Pakistani first class player Zafar Sarfaraz died at the age of 50 after suffering from coronavirus. He had been on ventilator in ICU since last 3 days.

Sarfaraz made his debut in 1988 and played 15 first-class for Peshawar scoring 616 runs. After his retirement in 1994, he took up the role of coaching for both senior and U19 team of Peshawar.

Zafar Sarfaraz was the brother of international player Akhtar Sarfaraz who died few months ago due to cancer. Sarfaraz became first professional player to died in Pakistan due to coronavirus.

In Pakistan, nearly 110 people already died due to coronavirus.
